SSM Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Resident to join our team within a supportive and comprehensive healthcare system. This residency opportunity provides an immersive learning environment designed to elevate the practical skills of newly graduated physical therapists in a real-world setting. Through this program, the resident is expected to provide patient care under the guidance of licensed physical therapists, while gradually taking on more responsibilities. Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Assist with patient assessments and contribute to the development of treatment plans. Document patient progress and adapt treatments as needed. Participate in educational sessions and professional development meetings. Engage with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations. Knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work well in a collaborative healthcare environment Adaptability and eagerness to learn Basic proficiency with healthcare software and technology Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must be eligible for state licensure as a physical therapist upon completion of the residency program.
