Outside sales position with hybrid work, competitive salary,

industry.Ability to build relationships while cold calling and be
confident in presenting information to prospective customers on the
company's shipping services during face-to-face meetings.1-5 years
of experience working as a freight forwarder or in the logistics
industry.As a Sales Account Executive for one of the leading
freight forwarders in the industry, OEC Group will provide you with
an opportunity to build your book of business and become more
knowledgeable about the shipping/logistics industry.Base Salary +
Uncapped CommissionBase salary along with commission, extra sales
benefits include: monthly car allowance, cell phone, laptop and
company expense account.About the Position Duties and
responsibilities include the following (other duties may be
assigned):Generate new business through cold calling, on average 40
calls per day.Build and maintain a customer base by recognizing
freight forwarding business opportunities.Partner with internal
subject matter experts to become well educated in all OEC products
and services.Offer solutions through OEC Group's services including
ocean, air, warehousing & distribution, LTL & FTL transportation,
cargo insurance and customs brokerage.Achieve monthly sales quotas
set by the sales management team.Utilize Sugar (CRM) to track
client's key information, build and maintain sales pipeline, and
measure KPIs.Work closely with the sales support team by reviewing
quotes to ensure the client's needs are met.Meet with current and
potential clients within assigned territory.Maintain consistent
communication with other departments and overseas offices.Monitor
international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.Work
ScheduleSt. Louis Office 8:00 am 5:00 pm CSTComputer SkillsTo
perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge
of Microsoft Office.QualificationsThis position will cover a
geographic area surrounding the OEC Group office the candidate has
been hired for. The role requires having reliable transportation at
the time of hire.Education & ExperienceOutside sales experience or
operations experience in freight forwardingBachelors degree in
International Transportation, International Business, Supply Chain
Management or related field is a plusSalary$50,000-$60,000 annually
based on education and experience level*PLUS: Uncapped commission,
$800 monthly car allowance, company cell phone, laptop, and expense
