Details: In need of an Assistant Project Manager to come on board.
This position is integral to ensuring the successful execution of
our construction projects from start to finish. The successful
candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and other team
members to plan, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of the
construction process. This includes managing project plans,
schedules, budgets, and communication. This role is perfect for
someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and
who has a passion for building and construction. Responsibilities:
Assist the Project Manager in the planning and execution of
construction projects. Coordinate and supervise the activities of
construction teams and subcontractors. Ensure all work is carried
out in accordance with project specifications, budgets, and
schedules. Monitor and report on the progress of construction
projects, identifying any issues or delays and proposing solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project activities.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
to ensure clear communication and successful project outcomes.
Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations and
quality standards. Participate in project meetings and provide
regular updates to the Project Manager. Assist with the procurement
of materials and equipment. Resolve any on-site issues and
conflicts, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Construction Management,
Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of
experience within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of
construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan,
organize, and manage resources. Exceptional communication and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a
range of stakeholders. Proficient in the use of project management
software and other relevant computer applications. Strong
problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve
issues promptly and effectively. Ability to work effectively in a
team, as well as independently when required. Proven ability to
manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Strong
attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring quality and accuracy
in all work. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to
