POSITION PURPOSE The Clubhouse Education & Employment Team Lead is responsible for the supervision and oversight of Placement Managers. Team Lead will assist in recruiting employers to participate in Clubhouse employment programs to help members return to workforce. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - JOB SPECIFIC

  • Conduct job development in the community to build a variety of job opportunities that match interest and abilities of Clubhouse members
  • Develop placement manager training and mentor staff to become effective placement managers
  • Coordinate placement manager team meetings
  • Continuous communication with employers to ensure needs are being met at job placement
  • Partnering with IPS for support, referrals, and coordinate/attend staffing meetings
  • Attend community employment meetings (NEXUS, Special Population, etc)
  • Network with Voc Rehab, Job Center, SSA, FSD
    • Assist members with understanding how their benefits will be affected by working
    • Gather, track, and analyze transitional employment data to continue performance improvement
    • Oversee and coordinate in-house and community-based education opportunities
    • Management of Clubhouse units
      • Planning, coordinating, and executing daily unit work with membership
      • Working with membership to complete unit work and tasks side by side
      • Applying and modeling the Clubhouse Standards, as stated through Clubhouse International (CI) in daily tasks
      • Creatively encouraging and motivating members to participate in their rehabilitation mainly through goals identified in Wellness Plan
      • Organizing, executing, and participating in some Evening, Weekend, and Holiday activities
      • Actively participating in the fundraising efforts of the Clubhouse
      • Completing frequent outreach of members who are not in attendance for each unit
      • Assisting to meet the community needs of members
      • Working with member to take steps towards independent employment and education in the community
        • Documentation Requirements
        • Developing Wellness Plan goals with members in unit
        • Completing quarterly reviews of Wellness Plans
        • Completing daily comments on progress notes with member in unit
        • Completing annual informational paperwork with members
        • Completing chart checks for members in unit when applicable
        • Crisis Support in coordination with Treatment Team
        • Participating in the TE (Transitional Employment) Program as a placement manager
        • Adhering to CI Standards and Philosophy
        • Participating in a 2-week Clubhouse Training and ongoing education on Clubhouse Model
        • Awareness and Adherence to standards set by CI
        • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor EDUCATION High School/GED required Bachelor's degree preferred in psychology, social work, counseling or related field required WORK EXPERIENCE If individual does not have a BA degree, experience and skill in programs for individuals with mental illness, particularly in regard to goal setting, consumer advocacy/support and utilization of community resource required All experience must include working with individuals with psychiatric, substance use, and/or developmental disabilities A valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required Compass Health Network is a nonprofit health care organization offering accessible, comprehensive, & compassionate behavioral health, substance use treatment, family medicine and dental services throughout Missouri.
