Job Description Job Description Southside Early Childhood Center at KIPP Wonder is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Assistant Pre-K Teacher to join our early learning team. Position Overview: The Assistant Pre-K Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, developmentally appropriate, and stimulating learning environment for preschool-aged children. This role is essential in helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Responsibilities Include: Assisting with daily classroom activities and lesson implementation Supporting children during learning centers, meals, rest time, and transitions Promoting positive behavior, social skills, and emotional development Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members Following all licensing, health, and safety regulations Qualifications: Experience working with young children (Pre-K preferred) CDA or associate's degree in early childhood or related (required) Patience, flexibility, and a positive, team-oriented attitude Strong communication and classroom support skills Ability to meet background check and health requirements
