We continue to grow to meet the needs of long-term individual investors.As a Threat Management analyst working on curating and operationalizing intelligence, andor developing and tuning detections, you are a valued member of the Threat & Vulnerability Management Team. You think more broadly about cyber security across Edward Jones and look for opportunities to partner and collaborate with purpose. You provide feedback and insights to your leader on opportunities to strengthen the program and actively adopt best practices to improve the overall cyber maturity and posture across the enterprise.What you'll be doing: Keep up to date with current trends, tactics, and vulnerabilities to understand the threat landscape as it applies to Edward Jones.Use industry standard frameworks such as MITRE ATT and Cyber Kill Chain to map current detection coverage and identify opportunities for developing new threat detection use cases.Build, document, and follow internal processes surrounding hunting hypotheses, detection creation, testing, criticality, and onboarding to IR, intel collection management, intelligence lifecycle, and threat prioritization.Partner with Networking Teams to deeply understand the ever-changing Edward Jones network.Research TTPs and develop high fidelity detections in various toolslanguages including Network Security Monitoring platforms and Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM).Collaborate with Vulnerability Management and Incident Response on high priority items and inter-team processes.Work with members of the Incident Response Team to develop processes for ongoing tuning of signatures and rules as well as documentation for response and investigation.Provide security services that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.Develop relationships with external security organizations to support awareness of security issues and trends.Support the Firm's "future forward" strategy by engaging with business teams and supporting intelligence and detection needs.Qualifications Required in the Job:Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Psychology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or related field preferred; or equivalent related work formation Security certification(s) preferred, i.e. GCTI, GCIA, GCDA or similarMinimum of 3 years Information Security or Networking experience, with experience in Incident Response, Threat Detection, or Threat Intelligence.Experience with researching threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures and applying to relevant Firm needs and following prioritization and escalation paths as needed.Experience with SIEM query languages andor data analysis techniques.Advanced knowledge and understanding of security issues, risks, concepts and terminologyThorough knowledge of technology concepts, including networking and authentication protocols.Experience using scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.) to parse machine-generated data, interact with REST APIs and automate repetitive tasks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills to describe security event details and technical analysisStrong interpersonal and organizational skills are needed to prioritize tasks and serve as a leader for enterprise security initiatives2021 FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For-- - By Great Place to Work-- - and FORTUNE Magazine - Edward Jones was named No. 20 on the list.
