Job Description:
The Telemetry RN is responsible for caring for patients that
need special monitoring, often including patients recently released
from the Intensive Care Unit.ResponsibilitiesAs a Telemetry
Registered Nurse your duties consist of:
Administering medications and use life measuring equipment.
Interpreting data produced from various medical equipment and act
upon findings.
Giving updates to the patient and their families about their
condition.
Teaching patients about the different ways to adjust to major
lifestyle changes.
RequirementsOne year of experience as a Telemetry RN within the
past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
