Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 Years, with 1 Year in Specialty License: Must hold a valid state license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Must-Have: Cerner preferred Description: Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIH. First-time travelers are accepted. Same-day offers can be made. Patient ratios are 1:5. Every other weekend work is required. Floating to other units is mandatory. Travelers may start with required course pending and complete it onsite at no cost. Two references from charge nurses or above are required in the profile at the time of submittal. Fifty percent of holidays are to be worked as part of the contract. Fifty percent of weekends are to be worked as part of the contract. Floating is mandatory for all units. All travelers will be expected to float to any area as a Patient Observer (sitter). Modules are non-billable and typically require 4-6 hours to complete. Modules will be recorded by the onsite manager.
