Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Saint Louis, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,254 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: BCLS and NIH required; ACLS and CPI preferred Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Ability to read rhythms - Knowledge of cardiac medications and drips (no titration) - No artificial or nail enhancements - No crocs with holes - Blue uniform required - Must work weekends and holidays Description: This is a telemetry nursing position focused on monitoring cardiac patients. Nurses will be responsible for interpreting dysrhythmias and managing cardiac drips. The nurse will provide post-operative care for patients who have undergone procedures such as cardiac angiograms and surgeries. Daily census includes approximately 14 patients with a staffing ratio of 1:5-6. Support services include physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Weekly schedules require 6 weekend shifts over a 6-week period. BCLS and NIH certifications are mandatory, while ACLS and CPI certifications are preferred. Nurses must demonstrate proficiency in various telemetry skills, including blood product administration and central line management. Candidates should be prepared to float within their defined scope of practice to meet patient care needs. Additional responsibilities include monitoring patients on telemetry, administering medications, and managing IVs. Compliance with specific unit protocols regarding appearance and equipment is required. The environment is acute care, and teamwork is essential for patient outcomes.
