with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Saint Louis,
Missouri, 63128! Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Cardiac Medical ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per
Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum 3 years in Cardiac Medical ICU and
3 years CVICU experience recovering open hearts directly from the
OR License: Current RN License meeting the criteria for licensure
in the state of Missouri Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA
only, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: 3 years of experience in Cardiac
Medical ICU, inpatient only 3 years of CVICU experience recovering
open hearts directly from the OR Description: Utilizes the nursing
process to provide patient care. Maintains professional
accountability for the provision of patient care. Evaluates the
overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient
information. Performs duties and responsibilities consistently with
the mission, values, and service standards. Performs direct patient
care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient
care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care
and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and
consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice.
Working conditions may include standing and walking for most of the
time on duty. Must meet unit-specific physical demands. May require
significant bending, stooping, as well as lifting and turning
patients with assistance. May work differing schedules, shifts, and
days of the week according to patient care requirements. Exposure
to blood and body fluids is high risk. Physical demands include
pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs., pinching up to 15
lbs., kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally. Utilizes the
nursing process to provide patient care for patients post-trauma
and surgical interventions. Maintains accountability for the
provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of
care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care
in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and
confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and
