Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least one year of Home Health experience and a valid state license if applicable. Responsibilities Work in a Home Health setting providing therapy services to clients in their homes Average caseload of 5-20 patient visits per day Service area covers a 40-80 mile radius Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with every 6th weekend required Epic is used for charting and EMR documentation No on-call or floating required Mileage is reimbursed at $0.55 per mile No more than 7 days of requested time off permitted during the 13-week contract First-time travelers are welcome to apply Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Grey scrubs are required Return staff and extension policies apply per assignment duration rules Face fit testing and immunization requirements may apply Requirements Minimum of 1 year Home Health Physical Therapy experience required Current BLS certification required Valid state PT license required; pending license accepted in some locations (license required if applicable) Epic charting experience preferred Must be able to travel within a 40-80 mile territory Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-639696.
