Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Saint Louis, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,144 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years ICU experience required; preferred 1.5 years in MICU. Level I experience required if less than 2 years of ICU experience. Must have experience in a 20 bed ICU. License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: Competent in caring for patients on CRRT via NxStage. Must pass EKG exam. Experience with pressor support, ETT, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, chest tubes, wound care, sterile technique, line insertion, bedside trach placement, bronchoscopy, and phlebotomy required. Description: Position available for a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit. The schedule requires three 12-hour night shifts per week, with a patient ratio of 1:2 in the ICU setting. Travelers will be expected to float within the service line as needed. Every other weekend coverage is required. Experience in managing dysrhythmias is essential. Preferred skills include monitoring with Swan Ganz, inhaled/IV Flolan, CVVHD, and rapid infusers. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services and pharmacy. The daily census for the unit is 41 patients. Patient diagnoses primarily consist of medical ICU cases. Candidates should be knowledgeable in isolation precautions and infection prevention. Candidates must provide two supervisory references from the last two years. All travelers will float within the service line or affiliate hospitals as necessary. Candidates with a history of medical marijuana use will not be considered. Travelers who obtained their RN degree outside of the U.S. must have extended licensing and compliance timeframes.
