with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Saint Louis,
Missouri, 63128! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN

12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Stepdown unit License: Current
RN License in the state Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only
Must-Have: 1 year of stepdown nursing experience Experience with
trach and vent patients Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care
for all age groups. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates
patient care activities. Monitors and coordinates patient care with
ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort. Functions within
the scope of nursing preparation in accordance with established
guidelines. Maintains professional accountability for the provision
of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care
provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates patient care in
conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and
confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties consistent
with the mission and values. Meets unit-specific physical demands
which may include standing, walking, bending, and lifting. May be
required to work differing schedules or shifts based on patient
care needs. Works in an environment with high risk of exposure to
blood and body fluids. Provides care for patients with respiratory
failure, ETOH, overdose, GI bleed, electrolyte imbalance, COPD, and
cancer. Engages in teamwork and maintains a dependable and flexible
attitude in the workplace. Ensures compliance with the nurse
