Job Title: RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of Telemetry experience required License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Team player Cares for positive patient outcomes Superior communication skills Description: Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups. Includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation. Ensures compliance with established guidelines of nursing practice. Adheres to all service standards and values. Expected to work weekends and at least one major holiday. Requests for time off up to 5 days can be automatically approved. May be required to float to different units as needed. Treats primarily medical and telemetry adult patients. Typical patient ratios are 4-6 patients per nurse. Utilizes standard nursing equipment and EMR systems. Creates a positive environment for patients and their families.
