and ACLS required Must-Have: IV start and Med/Surg experience
Description: 12-hour night shifts available in a Med/Surg/Telemetry
setting. Ratios are 1:4-5 during the day and 1:4-6 at night.
Candidates are required to work every other weekend. First-time
travelers are accepted. Candidates may be required to float within
their scope to meet facility needs. A guaranteed 36 hours per week
for 3 shifts or 48 hours per week for 4 shifts is provided. This is
an acute care environment with a daily census of approximately 15
patients. Candidates must have experience in telemetry and the
management of dysrhythmias. The role involves various nursing
responsibilities including blood product administration and
pre/post hemodialysis management. Wound care and isolation
precautions experience are essential. All candidates must complete
certain modules prior to their start date. References are generally
preferred at the time of submittal. Every other weekend coverage is
required. Floating to any unit may be necessary based on
competencies. No on-call duty is required for this position. Proper
documentation and certifications are required before starting. All
candidates must adhere to compliance deadlines for submission.
