Job Description Job Description Salary: Blended rate $3120 weekly Registered Nurse (RN) Psychiatric Facility: St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center Location: St. Louis, Missouri Status: Full-Time Contract (Anticipated) Job Summary This is a full-time contract opportunity at St. Louis Forensic Treatment Center in St. Louis, Missouri. We are currently accepting applications from experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurses (RNs). Qualified candidates will be contacted promptly once positions are confirmed. Schedule & Shift Requirements RNs will be scheduled to work 12-hour shifts, alternating 36 and 48 hours per week Every other weekend required Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. 6:30 p.m. Night Shift: 6:00 p.m. 6:30 a.m. Each shift includes a 30-minute unpaid break Schedules are based on facility needs RNs will not have fixed schedules or fixed days off Pay Structure Based on a 40-hour work week; Day Shift Blended Rate: $3,120/week ($78.00/hr) Pay Breakdown: $1,468 base pay ($36.70/hr) $1,652 weekly per diem ( tax-free when eligible ) Overtime & Holiday Rate: $105.00/hr Night Shift Blended Rate: $3,320/week ($83.00/hr) Pay Breakdown: $1,668 base pay ($41.70/hr) $1,652 weekly per diem ( tax-free when eligible ) Overtime & Holiday Rate: $110.00/hr Responsibilities Provide direct psychiatric nursing care in accordance with facility policies and Missouri regulations Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatment responses Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff as applicable Maintain accurate and timely documentation Follow infection control, safety, and compliance standards Qualifications Active and unrestricted Missouri RN license (or compact license eligible in MO) Minimum of 1 year psychiatric nursing experience required Minimum of 1 year of RN experience working in a contract or agency setting Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills Ability to adapt to a forensic psychiatric environment Reliable transportation and punctuality required Required Documentation All required documentation must be submitted for review. Due to facility timelines, complete files may be requested within 48 hours once positions are confirmed.
