Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Saint Louis,
Missouri, 63104! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per
Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Registered
Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIH Must-Have: Epic charting
experience Description: We are looking for a Registered Nurse in
the Medical Surgical specialty. This unit is a comprehensive
overflow unit staffed by an in-house hospitalist team. Nurses will
take care of patients from all disciplines, making each day
exciting. You will experience a variety of specialties and care for
a diverse range of patients. You are required to float to all care
areas to care for medical-surgical patients. Every other weekend
coverage is required. Candidates with previous charge experience
are preferred. Experience with a patient ratio of 5:1 is necessary.
Applicants must have experience with the Epic charting system.
Skills required include phlebotomy, wound care, and management of
dysrhythmias. You will be responsible for administering peripheral
line care, blood products, and performing isolation precautions.
Patient diagnoses in this unit include chronic kidney disease,
diabetes, trauma-related injuries, and heart failure.
Interdisciplinary support is provided by physical therapy,
respiratory services, and social services. Candidates must meet
health compliance requirements prior to starting the position. 5
