Job Description:

SSM Health is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our Catholic, not-for-profit health care system. This night and weekend position is crucial in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by providing precise and timely computed tomography imaging. Our CT Technologists play a vital role in our integrated health care delivery system, supporting diagnostic procedures across a range of clinical settings within the communities we serve. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to enhancing health through innovation and compassionate care. Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders and radiologic protocol. Adjust equipment parameters appropriately based on patient condition and specific health needs. Maintain patient safety and comfort, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining methods, and addressing concerns. Document and manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in data handling. Collaborate with the radiology and healthcare team to facilitate coordinated care. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with technological advances. Proficient in using CT technology and understanding of radiological safety and protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additional certification in CT technology by the ARRT is highly preferred.
