Cath Lab Tech Location: Springfield, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $4,028 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13-26 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must have an active license to apply Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS required Must-Have: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab experience Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience Experience in cardiac implant closure device Experience in cardiac stent placement Experience in diagnostic catheterizations (adult) IABP placement and removal experience Ability to interpret dysrhythmias Experience in left heart catheterization Experience in percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) Experience in percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) Experience in right heart catheterization Experience in rotablader athrectomy Knowledge of equipment setup Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias Experience in maintaining sterile field and isolation precautions Description: The position is for a Cath Lab Tech. The schedule is 4x12 days, with flexibility for 3x12s. The role involves working 2-3 weekends per contract. Call is required as needed, rotating with staff and agency. No floating will be required outside of the scope for facility needs. Candidates should discuss schedule requests during the interview process. Local candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. First-timers are accepted for application. Essential skills include diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac lab. Experience in cardiac implant closure devices and stent placements is crucial. Knowledge of IABP placement and removal is required. Candidates should have a strong understanding of dysrhythmias interpretation. Knowledge of catheterization procedures for both left and right heart is needed. The ability to set up equipment and maintain a sterile field is essential. Infection control practices, including isolation precautions, are mandatory. Familiarity with Cerner as the charting system is necessary. Competency in working with middle and older adults is required. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism throughout the assignment.
