Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: - Shift: 12H Nights - Total Weekly Hours: 36 - Certifications: BCLS required, NIH preferred - Trauma Level: - Facility Specific Job Notes: Years of Experience Required:/n- 2 years of experience is required./n- Ortho experience required, proficient in Ortho totals and fractures./n/nCertifications Required:/n- BCLS required./n- NIH preferred./n- All RNs are required to obtain ACLS by the compliance hard document deadline./n- NIHSS* and OCN* listed but not needed./n/nLicensure:/n- Valid state license required at the time of submission./n- Missouri requires a MO license or a compact license in their home state./n- Illinois is not a compact state; a license must be in hand at time of submission./n- Compact license must match the state where the candidate permanently lives./n/nSkills Required:/n- Telemetry - remote monitoring./n- Use of Rapid Response/Code teams./n- Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management./n- Renal failure./n- PCA./n- CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)./n- Pre/Post neurosurgery./n- Peripheral nerve block catheters./n- Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac./n- BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance./n- MS/Tele, Med/Surg, Telemetry./n- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias./n- Telemetry - on the unit monitoring./n- Feeding tube care and management./n- Accessing/Managing Ports./n- Blood Product Administration./n- Central line blood draw./n- Peripheral Line Care/Management./n- Phlebotomy, PICC line management./n- Starting and maintaining IVs./n- Heparin, Insulin./n- Total joint replacement./n- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)./n- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)./n- Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration./n- Isolation Precautions/PPE./n- Wound Care/Wound Vac, CPM./n/nLeadership Experience:/n- Previous charge experience is preferred./n/nCharting System Experience:/n- Epic experience is preferred and required for certain units./n/nSpecial Requirements:/n- Heavy lifting is required. /n/nAdditional Details:/n- Candidates will float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital as needed./n- EPIC is the charting system used throughout the BJC system.
