Wound Care NP/PA Locums Opportunity - Springfield, ILAvailabilityAssignment Dates

• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• End Date: October 9, 2026

Assignment Length

• 8 weeks

Schedule

• Preferred: 5 days per week
• Will consider 4 days per week:
  • Monday-Thursday, or
  • Tuesday-Friday

Coverage Flexibility

• Preference for one provider to cover the entire assignment
• Open to alternating providers every two weeks

Call

• No call

RequirementsProvider Type

• Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Physician Assistant (PA)

License

• Active Illinois license required, or
• Compact license accepted

Board Certification

• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) required

Certifications

• ABLS required
• BLS required

Practice DetailsSetting

• Outpatient Wound Care Clinic
• Level I Trauma Center

Patient Volume

• Approximately 25 patients per day

EMR

• Epic

Coverage Reason

• Temporary coverage during Wound Care provider medical leave

Patient Care Focus

• Outpatient wound care management
• Follow-up and ongoing wound treatment
