a strong positive attitude toward customer service to act as an
Employee Cook for our Independent Living facility. The right

from within.403b with a 50% match up to 4%Responsibilities:Prepares
all soups, stocks, and sauces; boils, braises, and roasts items
according to standardized recipes.Prepares and serves all saut--ed,
fried, grilled, steamed, and baked items following standardized
recipes.Prepares or directs the preparation of all food served,
adhering to standard recipes and special diet orders. Plans food
production to align with meal serving hours to maintain food
quality, temperature, and appearance.Determines the quantity and
type of food and supplies needed for daily menus and ensures that
supplies are obtained from storage in a timely manner for meal
production. Prepare employee meals and deliver them to break rooms
around campus. Roughly 30 to 40 meals a day.Maintain cleanliness in
breakrooms and keeping things stocked and
organized.Requirements:High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
is preferred but not required.Ability to read and write in English
and to follow both written and oral instructions in English.Perform
basic arithmetic and understand measurements.A minimum of three
years of experience as a cook in a hotel, restaurant, club, or
similar establishment.Knowledge of basic cooking methods.Ability to
plan and organize work effectively.Ability to interpret
instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards
accurately.Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and
maintenance, as well as some understanding of nutrition and diet.
