Clean Harbors is seeking a qualified CDL Driver A or B with expertise in operating tanker vehicles and manual transmissions to join our dedicated fleet. This role is critical in supporting our mission by ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of hazardous materials, complying with all federal, state, and local regulations. This position requires frequent travel and the readiness to respond to emergency situations, providing a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to environmental safety and compliance. Operate Class A or B tanker trucks with manual transmissions. Transport hazardous waste across regional or national routes in compliance with DOT regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency of vehicles. Respond to emergency spill situations as part of the emergency response team. Maintain accurate logs and records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Attend and complete safety training sessions and compliance briefings. Collaborate with dispatch and compliance teams to ensure smooth operations. Proficiency in driving manual transmissions. Experience handling hazardous materials. Strong orientation towards safety protocols and compliance. Effective communication and documentation skills. Able to navigate routes efficiently with attention to timely deliveries.
