Overview Spirtas Worldwide is seeking an Equipment & Asset
Operations Manager to oversee the management, deployment, and
lifecycle performance of the company’s heavy equipment fleet and
operational assets. This role sits at the intersection of
operations, logistics, finance, and field management and is
responsible for ensuring that equipment is properly maintained,
efficiently deployed, and financially optimized throughout its
lifecycle. The Equipment & Asset Operations Manager will lead
equipment tracking, maintenance coordination, vendor relationships,
and fleet reporting while supporting project teams across multiple
job sites. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, tech savvy, and a
strong communicator who can manage complex equipment logistics and
maintain clear operational visibility across the company’s asset
base. Key Responsibilities Equipment Operations & Equipment
Deployment • Lead fleet deployment planning in coordination with
project managers and operations leadership • Track equipment
location, availability, and utilization across active job sites •
Coordinate transportation and logistics for heavy equipment between
projects • Maintain real-time visibility of fleet status and
operational availability • Support field teams with equipment
planning and deployment needs Equipment Lifecycle Management •
Maintain complete service history and maintenance records for all
company assets • Track equipment lifecycle performance including
acquisition, repairs, rebuilds, and resale planning • Develop
long-term replacement strategies for aging equipment • Evaluate
equipment condition, performance, and operational efficiency
Equipment Financial Oversight • Track equipment capital cost,
depreciation, and lifecycle performance • Analyze lease vs.
purchase and rental vs. ownership decisions for major equipment •
Maintain cost-per-hour analysis for key fleet assets • Monitor
repair thresholds and evaluate repair vs. replacement decisions •
Work with company leadership and finance teams to monitor asset ROI
and fleet performance Damage & Incident Management • Track
equipment incidents, damage reports, and field inspections •
Maintain damage logs and incident reporting systems • Coordinate
repair assessments and cost tracking for damaged equipment • Ensure
inspection documentation and QR-based asset logs remain accurate
and up to date Vendor & Equipment Dealer Management • Maintain
relationships with equipment dealers, rental companies, and repair
vendors • Coordinate equipment purchases, rentals, and service
agreements • Negotiate pricing and service terms with vendors •
Monitor vendor performance, responsiveness, and service quality
Equipment Reporting & Asset Intelligence • Maintain a centralized
digital equipment database for all company assets • Implement and
manage asset tracking systems and fleet management software •
Produce weekly fleet status reports for company leadership •
Maintain dashboards showing equipment location, availability, and
downtime • Provide fleet performance data to support operational
planning and financial oversight Strategic Asset Management •
Coordinate with operations leadership on fleet allocation and
utilization planning • Evaluate equipment productivity and
recommend operational improvements • Support long-term fleet growth
planning based on company project pipeline • Maintain operational
visibility across the company’s fleet of heavy equipment assets
Performance Expectations The Equipment & Asset Operations Manager
will be responsible for: • Maintaining full operational visibility
of company equipment assets • Ensuring efficient deployment and
utilization of fleet resources • Reducing unnecessary equipment
downtime and repair costs • Supporting safe, reliable, and
cost-effective equipment operations across all job sites This role
carries direct responsibility for the care, custody, and control of
company equipment assets. Qualifications • Self-starter with strong
organizational and operational management skills • Tech savvy and
comfortable using spreadsheets, asset tracking systems, and digital
fleet management tools • Strong communication skills and ability to
coordinate across field teams, mechanics, and leadership •
Demonstrated experience managing heavy equipment fleets,
construction logistics, or equipment operations • Ability to
evaluate heavy equipment condition, performance, and operational
efficiency • Experience coordinating equipment transportation,
maintenance schedules, and job site logistics • Knowledge of heavy
construction or demolition equipment strongly preferred •
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Logistics,
