Seeking a BCBA to lead the intensive early intervention program
(1:1) and work in the outpatient clinic. This full time position
requires experience with 18-36 month old children. Prefer at least
one year experience as a BCBA and the ability to supervise

SummaryThe BCBA works in collaboration with management staff to
plan and facilitate the implementation of the Building Blocks
Intensive Programs. This includes staff training and
curriculum/candidate assessment. The BCBA is responsible for
providing direct support to a diverse group of staff in order to
develop and maintain quality practices appropriate for agency
clientele. They are also responsible for coordinating outpatient
ABA services, supervising other RBT's and ABA Implementers in the
program, and working directly with ABA clients and their
families.Organization DescriptionUnited Services for Children is a
nonprofit organization that provides pediatric therapy and early
intervention services to children of all abilities and offers
support services for their families. We focus on children ages
birth through 8 years old. Our center is located at 4140 Old Mill
Parkway in St. Peters, serving approximately 300 children
annually.Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsEveryday
working conditions: classroom/clinic environment, outdoor
playground. Must be able to: Frequently access and maneuver between
classrooms, playgrounds, and buildingsConverse in person and via
the telephoneObserve and respond to the physical/emotional needs
and behaviors of a childHandle, position, move, and manipulate
objects such as buttons, fasteners, or diaper tabsBe able to reach
up to 18 inches horizontally and verticallyAssume various positions
(floor, small chair, etc.) to work with children and prevent
injuryBalance, bend, stoop, or squat to retrieve items from the
floorSit at a table/desk for a minimum of 1 hour (may be up to 3

lbsRequirementsResponsibilitiesThe BCBA must: Manage teams daily
(mentoring, training/professional development of staff, assisting
teams in classroom management, planning, problem solving, and
implementing evidenced-based ABA practices and behavior management
strategies)Participate in IFSP/IEP and/or home visits for students
with intensive behavior/learning needs transferring into and out of
the programOversee other BCBAs in individualized programming for
children, planning of children's schedules in coordination with
therapies, and progress monitoringCoordinate services and
scheduling for incoming ABA clientsConduct assessments through
outpatient services to determine treatment planningDevelop and
provide ongoing supervision and implementation of treatment
plansImplement data collection, graph and analyze behavior, graph
and analyze learning acquisition data, and make modifications based
on data analysesSubmit written reports with data-based graphs
reflecting ongoing progressProvide feedback to the BCBA on annual
evaluationsAssist with grant applications and mid-/end- of-year
reporting for CCRB grant fundingCollaborate as an active part of
the Administrative Team (Education Director, Therapy Director,

Board Certified and State Licensed Behavior Analyst; must have
documentation of ABA training with young childrenExperience
QualificationsExperience designing and implementing ABA programs
for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (minimum 1
year)Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesKnowledge: Requires knowledge
of principles, methods, and procedures of ABA evidenced-based
practices, educating children with autism, and early childhood
education.Skills: Requires skills necessary to effectively observe
and provide constructive feedback to teachers, coach and problem
solve with teams, and enhance a team approach among staff. Strong
verbal and written skills as well as active listening skills are
also necessary. Must possess skills to problem solve individually
or as a team.Abilities: Requires ability to establish rapport with
children, families, and co-workers and work with them as a member
of a professional team. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as
needed in order to observe staff who work throughout the agency
hours of operation. Ability to access and operate computer software
(including word processing and database systems) and to stay
current with changes in technology. Must be able to function
independently on tasks.
