Join us, and you can build something better for yourself, for our customers and for the world.Position Responsibilities:Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.Utilize system engineering experience in requirements definition and system architecture development, in a multi-discipline team for the design, development, integration and production of multiple training system products.Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.Performs analyses of Engineering and Manufacturing Operations completions against program needs to assure delivery schedule milestones are met.Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements -for -management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.Resolves cross-functional technical issues.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor)5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experienceMust have experience in dealing with cross functional teamsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Training Systems experiencePrevious System Engineering experienceCAM certifiedTypical Education/ Experience:Bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' experience in an engineering classification.Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location option.
