Position SummaryThis highly motivated individual will grow new and existing business and have a proven ability to maximize relationships with carriers and customers utilizing personal contacts, networking, and negotiating to grow sustainable profitable business relationships. The Freight Broker Manager will also work to increase revenues and maximize profitability.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include but are not limited to the following: Draw on unique competencies to demonstrate how the companys offered services can benefit the customer Analyze and create presentations using customer service experience Manage the startup process after the sale Grow new and existing business Maximize relationships with carriers and customers utilizing personal contacts, networking, and negotiating to grow sustainable profitable business relationships Increase revenues and maximize profitability Strategically match available transportation provider equipment to every available customer load Track all booked loads and resolve any issues that arise Negotiate rates with transportation providers to obtain the best possible rate in the marketplace for each load moved Achieve pricing and margin integrity through effective negotiation skills Other duties as assignedRequired Skills and AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is inside a central heat and air-conditioned office building.
