Description:CarShield is seeking a Level 1 IT Technician to join its growing Tech Support team. This position will be responsible for general assistance with a side range of IT issues, including computers, thin clients, phones, active directory, etc. Successful candidates will possess a good foundation of general computer knowledge, some experience with troubleshooting, and good people and communication skills.Reporting to the IT Tech Support Manager, this position is responsible for:Assisting with maintenance and service of IT equipmentTroubleshooting computers, phones, headsets and other peripheralsActs as a liaison between the IT department and other departments throughout the organizationOther general tasks as assignedRequirements:Requirements for Level 1 IT Technician:2-3 years experience in a Help Desk environmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Workspace, incident management and collaboration toolsExperienced in computer hardware, installation, maintenance and repairExperienced in computer troubleshootingAbility to develop and maintain relationships with all employees, regardless of levelAbility to communicate clearly and effectivelyAbility to work efficiently with minimal supervision and to manage time effectivelyThis position will require someone that is willing and able to do a wide variety of tasks, both physical and computer-based. Ideal candidates will be reliable, responsible, flexible, and a solid team player.
