(Some locations require an overnight run " company-paid per diem.) Touch freight required. Company pays for medical recertification if it expires while a current employee. QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Minimum High School Diploma or GED. MEET AND EXCEED CSA 2010 REGULATIONS. Minimum 22 years of age, 2 years driving experience; current CDL-B w/Hazmat endorsement a must (or ability to obtain endorsement). Physically demanding job requiring frequent lift of 50 pounds or more. RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Provides efficient and courteous customer service Follows all Companys standard operating procedures (SOP) for safety, attendance, driving, compliance and ethics, customer service, inventory management through Companys BOLs, CSA 2010 and DOT regulations, cleanliness and housekeeping, and truck maintenance Forklift certified (company will train and provide) Assist facility during monthly cycle counts and yearly tag and tally Attend all safety and warehouse meetings TOOLS & EQUIPMENT USED: Computer including iPad GPS and time clock. Warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jack, tailgate lift, 26,000+ GVW commercial vehicles (straight truck). PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee works within a warehouse and truck environment, which may be loud, with hot and cold varying temperatures depending on the season. Possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals.
