Summary:

* Sells products for manufacturer or distributor to business and industrial establishments or individuals at the sales office, store, showroom, or customer's place of business by performing the following duties.

Job Responsibilities:

* Attends work on a regular and predictable basis

* Identifying and attracting new customers by introducing new products, services, and technologies while maintaining existing relationships in an effort to increase Lincare Healthcare sales and exceed customer expectations

* Supporting and collaborating with Healthcare SalesForce in winning, retaining and growing profitable customer accounts of various sizes

* Sells products for manufacturer or distributor to business and industrial establishments or individuals at the sales office, store, showroom, or customer's place of business by performing the following duties

* Establish and maintain a relationship with referral sources in the medical community.

* Identify and develop new referral sources. Responsible for obtaining a predetermined number of oxygen set-ups from new referral sources each month

* Prepare for and participate in trade shows, exhibits, and advertising campaigns

* Conducts in-service for referral sources educating them in the use and application of Lincare equipment

* Initiate resolution to complaints from referral sources with the appropriate management

* Prepare and submit approved plans for sales territory management. Provide marketing information to management as requested and/or made available

* Follow-up on lost-to-competition referral sources or users to identify problems with product or services and report to management

* Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts

* Understand and provide information on Medicare and insurance procedures, pricing information, and product information to referral sources

* Assist the center in the assurance of clean paperwork before packages are sent to accounting for billing and collections activities by conducting follow-up visits to the physicians to obtain prescriptions for services

* Follows applicable policies and procedures of the Safety & Regulatory Manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (driving safety), FDA and Emergency Planning

* Able to work independently and must be detail-oriented, and have excellent organizational skills

* Proactively develop the knowledge of customer needs and trends to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty

* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Bachelor degree or equivalent

* Able to do up to 50% domestic travel

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Excellent Time Management Skills

* Excellent human relations skills to interface with doctors, hospital administrators and department heads

* Must be computer literate

* Experience selling in the home health care field

* Ability to convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees

* Maintain composure in high pressure situations

* Capable of following an issue through to its conclusion

* Able to effectively interact with all levels of the Lincare organization as well as Customers

PHYSICAL DEMANDS- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
