The STIIIZY Janitorial Associate is key in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments within our facilities. This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing buildings, removing debris, and ensuring all areas are orderly and presentable. With attention to detail and a commitment to high standards, the Janitor I helps support a productive and comfortable workspace for everyone. Key Responsibilities: Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors by vacuuming and buffing, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, emptying trash receptacles, and replacing lining of trash cans. Cleans and services restrooms with mops and disinfectants. Restocks supplies. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk. Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created. Qualifications: Physical stamina and manual dexterity. Ability to stand for part of the shift. Must be able to pick up at least 40 pounds safely. Team-player mentality. Desire to learn about our products and company. Works well independently and has extreme attention to detail. Ability to understand and follow directions. Self-direction. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior janitorial experience is preferred. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. Requirements: Must be over 21 years of age. Available to work various schedules. Flexible availability to workday and night shifts. Part Time Position, 20 hours a week Report on-time, regular attendance with reliable service performance. Complete assigned work on time with minimal supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of cleaning products and willing to add on additional skills Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks. Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles is required. Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer. Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 40 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
