MRI Tech Location: Springfield, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,668 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-timers accepted. License: Must have an active license to apply. Certifications: ARRT-MR preferred. Must-Have: - Required skills and experience in Abdomen and Pelvis MRI, Cardiovascular MRI, Chest MRI, Head and Neck CT, Musculoskeletal MRI, Special Imaging Procedures, and Spine Case MRI. - Required charting experience with Cerner. - Level I Trauma experience preferred. Description: Position is for an MRI Tech. The shift is 3x12 hours on weekends. Will work weekends and holidays as needed. On-call is required as needed. The clinician will not float within the facility. Candidates can discuss scheduling requests with the manager. No radius restrictions for locals. Must ideally have no more than 5 days of requested time off. If cancellations exceed permitted hours, the client will be billed for excess shifts. Candidates on-call count as a called-off shift. Special requirements include skills and experience in various MRI procedures. Allied clinicians must arrive 3 business days prior to the start for fingerprinting requirements. The facility is a Level I Trauma center and Magnet Hospital. Daily patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidate must have required certifications as specified. Floating is required for travelers within the hospital or affiliated sites. Behavioral compliance is critical throughout the assignment duration. Modules may require completion, with the first being non-billable. Job expectations include working 2 out of 3 major holidays.
